We just wanted to take a moment today to recognize the great work of one of our drivers. Frank Wright is great to work with, has an eye for detail, and does a great job with thorough pre and post trip inspections. He has been able to identify and correct many small issues that could have become major problems down the road.

Appreciating Our Drivers

We had a great time celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week with our drivers this year. It was a wonderful opportunity to fire up the grill and share a couple meals with those drivers who could stop in and prepare food to go for those who were just passing through. We got to enjoy some great fellowship, play some fun games, and give out some amazing prizes including some iPad Pros and even a 5 day vacation get away.

I have hauled many different commodities in my career as a Commodities Relocation Specialist. I have hauled cottonseed, diapers, fruit roll ups, dog food, laundry detergent, and fabric. I have hauled REAL pig skins and frozen chicken, bottled water and Pepsi.

More than that, it is the start of an extended weekend of celebration we lovingly call Labor Day Weekend.

For many hard working people, Labor Day Weekend is a time to kick back with the family, fire up the grill, and just relax. But even more than that, Labor Day is a day for celebration. It is a day where we get to recognize all of the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.
