National Truck Driver Appreciation Week 2017

Driver Appreciation Week 2017

It’s time to celebrate!

What are we celebrating? We’re celebrating the millions of incredible people who buckle in behind the wheel each day to keep America moving. Without these people, America as we know it would just plain stop. Stores shelves would empty out, production plants would run out of raw materials, gas stations would run out of gas, and even clean drinking water would become considerably more difficult to find. Without truckers to move product all across America, we’d be in a pretty tough spot.

That’s why we strive to show our appreciation for our incredible drivers all year long. But when National Truck Driver Appreciation Week rolls around, we really take the celebration up a notch. We can’t wait to fire up the grill next week and share a meal with drivers as they come through the office.

But it’s not just about the drivers. We know that many of our drivers can do what they do because they have an incredible family behind them supporting them as they head out on the road; often for weeks at a time. The support those families provide is invaluable and we believe they deserve to be celebrated as well. That’s why we’ve invited our driver’s families to come on in and celebrate with us. And, we’ve even sent them a little something special to let them know we appreciate them too.

We’re not the only ones celebrating drivers over the next week. National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, September 10-16, 2017, is when America takes the time to honor all professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in tackling one of our economy's most demanding and important jobs.

Many truck stops, restaurants, and other companies across the nation are offering up some great specials for Truck drivers over the next week. Check out this artifice on Overdrive Magazine to see what deals are happening.

Do you have a trucker in your life? Be sure to reach out and let them know you appreciate what they do.
