So they told you you’re getting tails, but what are these bulky, origami like structures doing on a trailer?

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Ever sat on an airplane and wondered what the little bits on the tips of the wings are? They’re called “winglets.” Winglets reduce drag and help planes fly more efficiently. TrailerTails® achieve a similar effect by reducing drag in one of the most significant areas of drag on the trailer.

WILL I BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ADDED WEIGHT OR LENGTH?
Nussbaum manages the weight and the length has been approved by the DOT.

WILL THE TRAILERTAIL® ADD TO MY PRE-TRIP?
The Tail can be deployed with the pull of two small cables in a matter of seconds. The trailer doors have to be opened or closed anyway to load or unload, so you are already there ready to open or close the Tail.

HOW DO I BACK UP WITH THE TAIL OPEN?
The tails can be easily pushed closed by the driver before approaching a dock or parking area.

DOES THE TRAILERTAIL® IMPACT MY ACCESS TO CARGO?
