When we had a visit from a pair of State Police CMV Inspectors we learned a LOT! That’s why we know that when an officer is willing to give some instruction when you are not in trouble it is a great opportunity to learn how to stay out of trouble.

In his article for HNI, former Wisconsin State Officer Mark Abrahamson shared 10 things that truck drivers do that get them pulled over. So in the vein of learning, and staying out of trouble, we thought we’d share those ten things.

2017 International Roadcheck

It’s that time of year again. Beginning tomorrow, June 6th, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) will be hosting the 30th annual International Roadcheck. According to the CVSA, the International Roadcheck is the largest targeted enforcement program on commercial motor vehicles in the world. During the 72 hour period, an average of 17 trucks or buses are inspected every minute across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.

2017 Summer Holiday Driving

AAA is reporting that this Memorial Day holiday will be the “most travelers” since 2005. They are estimating that 39.3 million people will travel more than 50 miles from their home location. The important thing to note is that 88 percent of these travelers will be driving……
